ACN Consulting is led by founder António Corrêa Nunes, an agribusiness specialist with over 20 years’ experience.
He started his professional career in 2002 at Ferrari-Carano Vineyards & Winery (USA).
At the beginning of 2003, António returned to Portugal as a university researcher at the Instituto Superior de Agronomia (Higher Institute of Agronomy), while also working as an agro-industrial consultant at TerraProjectos.
In 2006 António Corrêa Nunes joined the Sovena Group, a world leader in the production and commercialisation of olive oils, working as a manager in the areas of sourcing, quality, olive mills, innovation, sustainability, carbon footprint and strategic plans.
At the end of 2015 he was invited to lead the Driscoll's project in Portugal, the main national and European player in the production and commercialisation of small fruits. During António’s leadership, Driscoll's business grew by over 70%, while important work was carried out in the areas of Sustainability, Worker Welfare and Communities.
At the beginning of 2020 António Corrêa Nunes started the Treemond project as CEO, one of the leading Iberian references in the planting and production of nuts. During his leadership Treemond defined its Mission, Culture and executed its business plan, currently representing one of the largest operations in the world (6,000 hectares).
At the end of 2023 he founded ACN Consulting - Agribusiness Committed with Nature.
Graduated in Agroindustrial/Food Engineering from the Instituto Superior de Agronomia in Lisbon, followed by a Master’s degree in Agronomy. António Corrêa Nunes went on to study business management at the Portuguese Catholic University and the Nova School of Business and Economics, completing an MBA and a Major in Finance. He has executive training from San Telmo Business School and Harvard Business School specialising in the management of agri-food companies.
António Corrêa Nunes is founder and organiser of the “Lisbon Agri Conferences”, an international conference whose Mission is to “develop knowledge” and is considered one of the “largest European agribusiness debate and analysis forums“.
